We have created this unique and completely free service, we recognise that families sometimes struggle with choices for funeral arrangements.

Basic Funeral Service

James Harper Independent Funeral directors offer this funeral as part of our range of services but it should be stressed that this service is a very basic 'no frills' option. It will of course, be carried out in a respectful and professional manner.

The Basic Funeral includes:

• All funeral directors services
• Attending to all necessary administration
• Transfer of the deceased from the place of death to our Chapel of Rest (within 10 miles radius and during normal working hours Mon - Fri 0900 - 1700)
• Plain chipboard coffin
• Engraved nameplate, handles and gown
• Closed hearse only
• Bearers and Funeral Director
• No service/no mourners

Disbursement Fees

The disbursements (ie doctors fees, crematorium charge etc.) will be in additional to the Basic Funeral price.

All payment must be made in full before this funeral can take place.
